Carmax

The commercial electrical department of Neo Electric is proud to be doing an interior renovation for Carmax Store #7260 in Jacksonville, FL.

This project consisted of providing temporary power and lighting as required for demolition and removing all existing circuitry not required for the final installation. Furnishing and installing the following new equipment: 

  • (1) 480V, 3-phase primary to 208Y/120V, 3-phase secondary, 45kVA transformer (1) 225A, 208/120V, 3-phase, 4-wire, 10kAIC panelboard labeled “LCPB” (1) 225A, 208/120V, 3-phase, 4-wire, 10kAIC panelboard labeled “RA” 
  • New electrical circuitry as indicated on the plans.  
  • All wiring for power and lighting systems per the plans. Plus, owner-furnished light fixtures 
  • Four (4) new exit light fixtures 
  • Ceiling- and wall-mounted occupancy sensors
  • New floor outlets. Remove and replace devices in the business office as required to accommodate new millwork. Relocate existing RTU thermostats 
  • New receptacles
  • Power poles to supply Wiremold systems 
  • All low-voltage rough-in, including conduits, back boxes, and stub-outs. Include all required electrical permits and associated fees.
  • Provide firestopping/fireproofing for all electrical penetrations.
